Please Remember YOUR Health & Safety is paramount at all times!

Therefore, ALL Visitors are required to either register online before attending, or at the prescribed offices before entering any of our actual Auction sites, whether viewing or actually attending a particular Auction, Tender, or Private Treaty Sale. You agree without doubt that if you enter an Auction site that we are conducting for our clients, that you do so at your own risk and agree to absolve US”, our Directors, Management, Employees and our Clients, of any legal responsibility/action should you sustain any injuries whilst on any site. This also includes any damage caused to or losses to property by actions directly, or indirectly caused by your attendance.

Additional Site Safety WARNINGS: Please be aware of other attendees and report any undesirable actions that other attendees may be considering attempting, or actually conducting immediately to a member of our staff, actions that you believe could prove detrimental to that of your own and others safety whilst in attendance!

We treat Health & Safety at Work Very Seriously! Therefore, in the interest of Health & Safety, any/all mechanical and electrical lots that a potential buyer feels the need to test will only be allowed to be undertaken by an approved VDE Asset Management Limited employee and within an environmentally structured area of safety.

Anyone seen/caught being in breach of these very important Health & Safety issues will be asked to leave the Auction site immediately, forfeiting any deposit that they may have paid and forfeiting any bids previously accepted by the Auctioneer.

Children: Children under the age of 16 years of age are not permitted to any Auction, Tender, or Private Treaty Sale, undertaken by “US” (No Exceptions).

PPE: You are required in which to wear sensible footwear & clothing whilst on site. We have the right to refuse entry to any site if we believe that your footwear & clothing is unreasonable for that particular event (Ladies, please no high heeled footwear).

Machinery Movements: Please be extremely careful whilst attending an event being carried out by Us, as there may well be machinery in use both in the day to day operations being carried out on site, or whilst buyers are in attendance to remove lots purchased. Therefore, it is paramount to yours and other attendees SITE SAFETY, that you first and foremost register at the official site offices each time you attend any of our auctions sites.

Machinery Removals: Buyers/Purchasers:–

First & Foremost, No movement of machinery will be undertaken without a Full Risk Assessment and Method Statement being submitted and thereafter being approved by Paul Thompson (No Exceptions).

Appropriate safety ware must be worn whilst attending the removal of assets bought in Auction, Tender, or Private Treaty Sales.

Machinery Used For The Collection of Lots Purchased: Hiabs, Cranes, Forklifts, etc, used by either the purchaser or their collection agents must strictly adhere to the relevant safety tests (Loler Certified, Etc). We have the right to refuse Buyers/Purchasers, or their collection agents access to and from collecting lots purchased, should if asked, not be able to prove that such equipment is tested/certified. The onus is on the Buyer/Purchaser to supply such important information to our offices before considering collecting lots purchased!

Spillages: Please report any/all spillages that you may come across during your visit to a member of staff without delay.

Weather Warnings: Unfortunately we have no control over the weather. Therefore, please come prepared for adverse weather conditions.
